In order to receive this certificate, it is mandatory to sign a voluntary commitment which declares a serious and transparent way of working. Afterwards, case studies (including URL and description of the optimizations) must be submitted, which are anonymized (and therefore do not allow any conclusions to be drawn about the agency) and are checked by the SEO expert advisory board. In addition, five other customers must be named for an independent customer survey, specialist articles and lectures must be verified and a certificate of the annual SEO fee turnover must be submitted.
